Perfect Fit Convert

I buckled. I gave into the pressure. I just had to try the thing everyone was talking about.

PERFECT FIT PROTEIN!

Organic, Gluten-Free, Raw, Vegan, Non-GMO, Kosher, Non-Fat, Low in Sodium, and Free of Sugar, Dairy, Lactose, Cholesterol, Soy, Corn, Wheat and Allergens.

Full amino acid chain.

Girly looking bag.

What's not to love?

The first thing I had to try was the vegan pancake recipe from the Tone It Up recipe collection. The pancakes did not turn out perfectly, but they were certainly more pancake-y than the last few recipes I tried. I think I flipped mine a little too soon, so next time I'll be more patient and probably throw in some baking powder to help make them a little fluffier.

Still, delicious :) I topped them with my PB&J sauce (microwave frozen strawberries, chia seeds, water, and stevia, and then add peanut butter powder and almond milk until desired consistency).

The next thing I had to test was my standard protein smoothie, but I switched up the flavors a little bit this time, and made one of the BEST ones I've ever had!

Green Coffee Smoothie
1 scoop perfect fit vanilla protein powder
1/2 frozen banana
1 c. almond milk
1/2 c. frozen spinach
2 ice cubes
1 scoop coffee grounds
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 drops liquid stevia

The Perfect Fit was much less chalky than other protein powders I've tried, and the vanilla flavor was great (usually not my favorite protein powder flavor). You've GOT to try this recipe, especially if you're a coffee lover. I just used regular coffee grounds and it was unbelievably good.

Stay warm in the blizzard all you New Englanders! Meanwhile, I'm off to the gym. Can't stop, won't stop.
